Fundament

Coming Soon

Fundament is Kaduk’s preparatory instrument line, developed to form correct technique, physical position, and musical control from the very beginning.

It exists to prepare pianists for the instruments of the future, not for legacy pianos shaped by historical constraints.

Fundament gives students access to the same design logic, ergonomics, and clarity of response that define Kaduk’s advanced instruments.

The Instrument

Fundament is built as a serious educational instrument, not a simplified or compromised one.

It focuses on what matters most in early and intermediate development: reliable touch, consistent geometry, and a healthy physical relationship with the keyboard.

The instrument is designed to prevent the formation of habits that later have to be unlearned.

By prioritising ergonomics, proportional response, and clarity of feedback, Fundament allows pupils to develop technique and musical awareness that transfers directly to advanced instruments such as Individu and Tendens.

Fundament introduces modularity as a practical educational tool.

Its detachable keyboard allows students to practice silently or in different locations, while remaining part of a complete instrument when connected to its soundboard system.

Fundament generates natural sound with the help of a compact soundboard, providing acoustic feedback that supports listening, touch, and musical development during study and teaching.
The soundboard is sized deliberately for its role: to give clarity and realism without prioritising projection or scale.

This approach supports modern learning realities without separating practice from musical intent.

The keyboard remains the reference point — sound production adapts to context, not the other way around.

Fundament exists to give young musicians access to serious tools early, so that artistic development is supported rather than constrained from the outset.
