Rather than simulating a concert grand at reduced scale, it functions as a perceptual reference, allowing musical decisions to be made with clarity before stepping onto the stage.
 
A Ballistic Instrument for Daily Work
Like all Tendens instruments, Pro Intimi belongs to the same instrumental family as acoustic pianos.
It is a ballistic instrument, responding to the full acceleration profile of the pianist’s gesture rather than abstracted control data.
The keyboard and action are identical to those used across the Tendens platform. Touch, timing, resistance, and release behave in exactly the same way as on the larger concert configurations. Technique developed on Pro Intimi transfers directly — without reinterpretation — to Pro Concerto or Pro Ampla.
Hearing the Instrument as the Audience Does
In large halls, pianists often play at a distance from the sound they project. Pro Intimi collapses that distance.
 
By presenting the instrument’s sound in a compact, transparent acoustic field, Pro Intimi allows the pianist to hear structure rather than force: how tone opens, how articulation carries, how phrasing reads beyond the keyboard. Components are serviced or replaced as needed to ensure uninterrupted professional use. This model is intended for institutions, venues, and artists who require maximum reliability, uptime, and consistency, rather than long-term ownership.
